The staff, namely Sabrina, was VERY pleasant, and accommodating. However, I caution anyone considering staying here. When reading that check in wasn't until 4PM, to 9PM, I understood that, but, they are actually CLOSED until 4PM.....Sabrina greeted us, and even though she was housekeeping, she did all that she could so we were able to at least drop off our trailer, and bike that we had in tow. The cabins are "surface" clean at best. They allow pets, and, we were pleased to find no signs of shedding, or dander, there was dog slobber all over one of the windows. The showers are old, and deteriorating, rusty also. The bed was clean, but not comfortable, they have foam toppers, and they need to be replaced. The heater was totally unacceptable, and definitely needed because the temp. was chilly. It is archaic, inefficient, noisy, and unhealthy. My Fiance' did not get a good night's sleep there at all. If not for the friendliness, and courtesy of Sabrina, we wouldn't have stayed. We were also afraid because of booking on line, that we would not be refunded.
We had a great time at Mount Jefferson View last night. We stayed in a cabin for the night that had a full size bed, twin size bunk beds, oven, stove, fridge, and Adirondack chairs on a small porch. They also had a pool, fire pit, small playground for the kids, and other stuff to do outside. We had a nice fire and smores. It was a good time.
Beautiful view of Mt Washington, price is cheaper than similar places. Rooms a tad dates but still clean and comfortable. Community fire pit and pool very cool also!
Excellent experience. Very kid friendly, nice clean pool to swim in and a very nice playground. Kids even got a chance to cook Smores and hamburgers and feel right at home. Would definitely come back.
Wonderful place.. beautiful view of mountain. Great staff. 2nd time here and looking forward to coming back next year
